Nutrition The Nutrition Support Team includes: • registered dietitians Registered dietitians (RDs) are food and nutrition experts who have met special criteria to earn the RD credential. They need to complete a minimum of a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university or college offering course work approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) and American Dietetic Association (ADA). They must also complete a supervised practice program, pass a national examination and complete continuing professional education requirements to maintain their registration. Nurses designated to the Nutrition Support Team oversee the services and products that each patient receives. They will monitor patients for appropriate use of equipment and product consumption. We have specialized intake and reimbursement specialists who are trained in taking the patients admission information and helping them with reimbursement. |
